I’m on vacation, and I’ve been attending Masses in the diocese of Green Bay. Some changes from the new GIRM have been implemented, and I like what I see! Various “innovations” at parishes are starting to be quelled (or at least lessened). The book the Bishops’ Conference released that deals with some particularly American innovations (Introduction to the Order of the Mass) has yet to get its fifteen minutes of fame, but if it were followed, it would help even more.
